If there’s a sewing machine available, small drawstring bags or pouches often sell very well. For anyone who knows (or can be taught) how to operate a sewing machine, these are quite simple to make. Click on my avatar for an email link, and email me for instructions, if you like. It’s quite easy to get fabric donated for these, too, as they don’t take a whole lot for each bag.

Take a foam mirror, glue flat-backed beads to it, put sticky foam shapes on the spaces that are free, and put Velcro on your locker, then put Velcro on mirror and you’re done!

Aprons (personalized), make some baked goodies and package them in a great bowl/vase/mug from the dollar store (they have some really nice ones), give a nice picture of something in nature you have taken (frame/matting from dollar store or walmart), betta fish with food in a cheap glass vase (looks great and is a nice gift), give a set of candles (couple of white pillar candles in glass containers filled with cranberries to use over the holidays or coffee beans with a nice off white ribbon which will match most decor), make a cookie recipe up (dry ingredients) include the recipe and a cookie sheet, give a small bottle of maple syrup with a pancake mixture (dry ingredients) with a recipe attached..any recipe can be given similar to this with a baking pan or utensil for minimal cost.

It depends on if you want house crafts or kids crafts.A good kids craft is to get some large sheets of brown paper, colored constuction paper, assorted feathers, googley eyes, glue, glitter, scissors, stapler, and some other random craft items. Trace a hand on paper (dad’s hands work well because they are bigger) and make sure you cut 2 identical brown hands. Have the child add feathers to each finger and add eyes and anything else they would like. Add the red “waddle” thing :) and the orange or yellow feet.Staple around except for the bottom. Stuff with tissues, cotton, tissue paper, or what ever you’d like to create a “stuffed turkey” decoration. Have fun hope i helped

There is a guy in this town that when he was a teen, he made beaded &/ or braided necklaces that he sold for $10.00 each. He saved all his necklace money, except for money needed to re-stock on supplies and now owns a very successful store that, amongst other things, sells necklaces & other cool stuff that local people make

How about sewing cute pillows or making jewelry. Try googling it.Anyway, try out some rummage sales for cheap supplies.

Mod-podge the pictures to some furniture in need of refinishing (the top and/or sides of a dresser, table, desk, chair seat or stool) or purchased just for this (a TV tray table, a wooden tray, or a large picture frame and a piece of thin plywood cut to fit inside it). Mod-Podge is available at craft stores like JoAnn’s, Michael’s, Hobby Lobby, etc. – follow the label directions). If you’re living at home, make sure your parents are okay with what you do, because you can’t easily undo it, and practice on a piece of cardboard with some photos you don’t care about first to get the feel of the stuff.More info and examples at the link below.Good luck!

Christmas ornaments and refrigerator magnets are usually a guaranteed seller at a church craft show. Do a search for Christmas Bazaar Crafts for more ideas.

you could make friendship bracelets but they are time consuming. you may want to try Oriental trading company…they have stuff like toys and trinkets and religious items also. they sell in bulk which makes prices per item cheaper. http://www.orientaltrading.com/application?namespace=browse&origin=catalogProducts.jsp&event=catalog&categoryId=377707&tabId=Everyday&cm_re=MP1-_-MP1-_-MP1

You can try loom knitting. You can purchase the kits called Knifty Knitter and any craft store, Michael’s, Joann’s or Walmart. They are very inexpensive. With them you can make all sorts of things to sell or give to family and friends like hats, socks, gloves, scarves, etc. If you like the kit I have a site you can get on to get instructions and some other patterns. It’s http://www.springyknitting.com. You can also try you tube and find videos on loom knitting. Just type in loom knitting in search line. If you like the loom knitting you can go a yahoo site for loom knitting. They have all sorts of other loom knitters with answers to any questions you may have. That site is kniftyknitters@yahoogroups.com. With the last one you might have to just type yahoo groups in the search line to find the closest yahoo group near you.Hope this helps

If you make it it takes up your time and money and you will not get back your investment. Go to another flea market and pick out some items, get a lower price and then take them to your flea market and raise the price.
